My go to spots.

Bucket list spots.

Bistrotheque, E2, London

This is one of my favourite spots in East London and there are many to choose from in the local. I have visited, time and time again. Bistrotheque is a Modern European restaurant in a converted warehouse, with minimal, classy decor. It is very atmospheric in the eve/night.It offers a dining experience where diners may also observe the chefs in action, with a gorgeous bar and selection of cocktails too.

The seafood cafe by Niall Sabongi, Dublin

The Seafood Cafe by chef Niall Sabongi is located in the heart of Temple bar, Dublin. Dubliners, don’t let this turn you off if you haven’t tried it yet. The seafood cafe is a small, cosy and intimate restaurant, with an option to dine at the bar where you can see the chefs cooking amazing fresh fish, some of Dublins best, in my opinion and the staff always go above and beyond to make you feel welcome and accommodate your needs.

Mamo, Howth, Dublin

I Have had my eye on Mamo for quite some time now, serving a mouth watering menu, consisting of modern European & Irish cuisine, fresh and locally sourced produce, sourcing their seafood from the harbour over the road. The food is plated to perfection making it not only beautiful to eat (I imagine) but also pleasing to the eye. Not to mention the incredible location on Howth seafront and the recommendation on Michelin guide. I would love a visit to Mamo.

Ikoyi, London

Is a contemporary West African inspired restaurant that builds its own spice based cuisine around British micro-seasonality. The foundation for the menu is a collection of spices with a focus on sub-Saharan West Africa. An elaborate tasting menu consisting of 13 dishes all meticulously prepared and presented. I enjoyed every moment of this experience and almost had to roll out the door but I would more than happily do it again.

Kiln, W1, London

Kiln is one of the cities most favoured Thai restaurants. The short menu of “delicious and innovative” sharing dishes delivers “a taste extravaganza” based on impeccably sourced ingredients. Enjoy your dining experience in Kiln seated at a table or on the bar, it is best enjoyed with another or others with sharing as a focus on their concept. As you typically would eating in South East Asia. If I wasn’t selling it already, for a restaurant of its caliber in London it’s quite affordable.

Six by Nico, Dublin

Six by Nico, Dublin offers a Modern European menu but not like any other. Each month the menu changes and focuses on 1 specific cuisine, with an affordable tasting menu and wine pairing as an option, Six by Nico offers a refined and authentic experience, allowing the diner to have an introduction to a new cuisine. From Shanghai to the Amalfi coast, there is something for everyone and I want to try it all.
